Maintape Heavy Duty Sail Repair tape is suitable for long lasting emergency sail repairs.  Can also be edge stitched for a permanent repair and is suitable for reinforcing batten pockets.  

Features

  • Maintape Heavy Duty Sail Repair is suitable for mainsail repairs, genoas, roller furling sails, heavy spinnakers, mylar and kevlar panels
  • Self adhesive
  • Polyester sailcloth with low stretch and a high grab adhesive coating 
  • Suitable for anti-chafe applications.  Apply sacrificial strips or patches to areas of sail which regularly contact shrouds, spreader ends etc
  • Tape dimensions: 1.5m L x 100mm W
  • Application method: remove backing paper and rub firmly into place avoiding air pockets and creases.  Apply to suitably prepared areas of sail
