International Yacht Primer is a fast drying, 1-part general purpose primer for use prior to applying a single pack undercoat. Pigments contain aluminium flakes to create an anti-corrosive, protective barrier.  It is quick drying and easy to sand.

• International Yacht Primer is general purpose primer which is suitable for application above the waterline only
• Substrates: for use on timber, polyester, vinylester, epoxy, steel and aluminium.
• Application method: brush, roller, spray
• Practical Coverage: 12.30 m²/litre (brush, roller); 6.30 m²/litre (airless spray, conventional spray)
• Recommended number of coats: 4
• Touch dry: 30 mins to 4 hours (temperature dependent)
• Overcoat time: minimum; 2 hours to 32 hours; maximum; 16 hours to 4 days (overcoat times are temperature and overcoat product dependent)
• Finish/sheen: matt
