The Selden Auto Ratchet Block 45 is one of a range of ratchet blocks which are predominantly used for dynamic applications such as sheets on dinghies and keelboats. This sheave automatically changes from free turning to ratchet when the load increases; ratchet sensitivity to load can be adjusted using an allen key to adjust an internal screw.
