Seajet 015 Underwater Primer is an acrylic resin based primer. It is suitable for use as a sealer/barrier coat over unknown, incompatible and Teflon based antifouling. It is quick drying and forms a tough, flexible film, with good adhesion characteristics for subsequent coats.
Seajet 015 Underwater Primer is recommended for use as a primer and binder coat for Seajet Antifouling
Substrates: For use over suitably prepared GRP, steel and wood
Application method: brush or roller
Practical coverage: 8.8m²/litre
Recommended number of coats: 1 to 4 depending upon substrate
Surface dry: 15 to 40 minutes (temperature dependent)
Hard dry: 1.5 hours to 4 hours (temperature dependent)
Overcoat time (Seajet 015 Underwater Primer): minimum 2 hours to 5 hours (temperature dependent); maximum NA
Overcoat time (Antifouling): minimum as above; maximum 5 to 7 days (temperature dependent)
