About

The Tohatsu MFS6 6hp SailPro 4-Stroke Outboard is a light and compact single cylinder 4-stroke engine.  The MFS6 CSL includes an alternator and rectifier with charging capability.  The engine comes with a 7 year limited manufacturers warranty.

• Front mounted shift lever
• Trim tab reduces steering effort, functioning also as the sacrificial anode that protects the engine from electrolysis
• Reduced induction noise and vibration for quieter, smoother and stable running at all speeds
• Ultra-low emission, EU and CARB 3-Star rating approved
• Digital CD ignition for easier engine starting, quicker throttle response and smoother trolling.  Recoil starter with larger reel for easier manual starting. 
• Start-in-gear protection for safer engine starting
• Shallow water drive
• 6 trim positions
• New longer tiller handle (110mm extension) with twist throttle control and adjustable steering friction for reducing steering effort
• Through-the-prop exhaust for a quieter running
• Thermostatically controlled cooling system
• Durable stainless steel water pump housing liner
• Zinc coating on internal water passages for improved corrosion resistance
• High grade marine aluminium alloy to provide the corrosion protection
• Separate 12 litre fuel tank including fuel fittings and fuel line
• Low oil pressure indicator, safety lanyard, over-rev. limiter

A pre-delivery inspection (PDI) is required at time of purchase to ensure validity of 7 year warranty - a charge of £68 per PDI will be applied prior to shipping.
