Hempel Classic antifouling is suitable for application below the waterline for operations at cruising speeds
Substrates: Suitably prepared glass fibre, wood, plywood and steel boats. Do not use aluminium or other light-alloy metals. Risk of corrosion in case of direct contact
Application method: brush, roller, paint pad
Coverage: 12.5m²/litre
Recommended number of coats: 2 - additional coat recommended around waterline. 3 coats recommended for vessel speed regularly in excess of 20 knots
Touch dry: 9 minutes to 30 minutes (temperature dependent)
Surface dry: 2 hours to 8 hours (temperature dependent)
Overcoat time: minimum 3 hours to 8 hours (temperature dependent)
Time to immersion: minimum 24 hours (temperature dependent), maximum 1 month
Gloss/sheen: semi-flat
