Hempel Classic is a polishing antifouling paint providing protection for all seasons. It is suitable for cruising speeds and has good mechanical strength for improved crack resistance. 

Features

• Hempel Classic antifouling is suitable for application below the waterline for operations at cruising speeds
• Substrates:  Suitably prepared glass fibre, wood, plywood and steel boats. Do not use aluminium or other light-alloy metals. Risk of corrosion in case of direct contact
• Application method: brush, roller, paint pad
• Coverage: 12.5 m²/litre
• Recommended number of coats: 2 - additional coat recommended around waterline. 3 coats recommended for vessel speed regularly in excess of 20 knots
• Touch dry: 9 minutes to 30 minutes (temperature dependent)
• Surface dry: 2 hours to 8 hours (temperature dependent)
• Overcoat time: minimum 3 hours to 8 hours (temperature dependent)
• Gloss/sheen: semi-flat
