Features
The Tohatsu MFS6 6hp 4-stroke Outboard is one of the Tohatsu fleet of smaller outboard engines. It is a light and compact single cylinder 4-stroke engine, designed to provide reliable power for smaller boats, whilst providing cleaner emissions. The engine comes with a 7 year limited manufacturers warranty.

- Front mounted shift lever
- Reduced induction noise and vibration for quieter, smoother and stable running at all speeds
- Ultra-low emission, EU and CARB 3-Star rating approved
- 3-way storage positions (port, front and starboard side down) without risk of oil spillage
- Digital CD ignition for easier engine starting, quicker throttle response and smoother trolling. Recoil starter with larger reel for easier manual starting.
- Start-in-gear protection for safer engine starting
- Shallow water drive
- 6 trim positions
- New longer tiller handle (110mm extension) with twist style throttle control and adjustable steering friction for reduced steering effort
- Through-the-prop exhaust for quieter running
- Thermostatically controlled cooling system
- Durable stainless steel water pump housing liner
- Zinc coating on internal water passages for improved corrosion resistance
- High grade marine aluminium alloy to provide corrosion protection
- 12 litre fuel tank including fuel fittings and fuel line on certain models
