What’s Included in an Installation
Every engine installation is delivered as a managed engineering project.
Pre-installation includes removal of the old engine, assessment of beds and mountings, driveline inspection, fuel system inspection, cooling and exhaust planning, and electrical system checks.
Installation works include fitting the new engine, gearbox alignment, shaft and propeller matching, exhaust and cooling system installation, electrical integration, control system installation and full commissioning.
Post-installation includes sea trial, performance verification, warranty registration and full handover documentation.

Do you install customer-supplied engines?
Yes, provided the engine is certified, suitable for marine use and approved by Above the Brine prior to installation. We do not install non-certified or unsuitable engines.
Can you remove and dispose of my old engine?
Yes. We offer full removal and environmentally responsible disposal as part of our installation service.
How long does an engine installation take?
Most installations take between 3 and 10 working days depending on vessel type, engine model and the level of system modification required.
Do you provide workmanship warranties?
Yes. All installations are completed to manufacturer standards and include workmanship warranty alongside the engine manufacturer’s warranty.
