I recentl had the experiencing a routine service for my boat with *Above the Brine*, and I couldn't be more impressed. Simon, the owner, and Leigh, the chief engineer, provided exceptional service from start to finish.
Leigh, the chief engineer, showcased his expertise with thorough and meticulous work on the engine and other mechanical systems. It was clear that he has a deep understanding of marine engineering, and his passion for his work shone through. The engine now runs more smoothly than ever, and I feel confident that my boat is in top-notch condition.

Overall, the team at *Above the Brine* exceeded my expectations. Their professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for my boat left me feeling secure and well taken care of. They were thorough, all very friendly, always had time to discuss the yacht and give advice freely. Simon and Harry went out of their way to identify the problem with our fuel pump and to source a reconditioned one, a previous engineer elsewhere had fitted a replacement which leaked fuel into the engine and could have caused the engine to seize. They fixed a stanchion leak etc too. Overall they were great value for money, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

My outboard engine failed as I was leaving my berth. ATB arranged for their engineer to investigate the problem but this couldn’t be addressed whilst the boat was on the water. They arranged therefore for the boat to be recovered to their trailer in the yard and the engineer diagnosed and repaired the defect - failed fuel pump - and returned the boat to its berth. All while I was on away on holiday - excellent service!

Not just for big boats ! We had a broken pintle after the rudder on our Falcon hit a rock launching off Beaumaris. Desperate to fix same day so we didn’t miss any more racing Above the Brine had a second hand pintle plus all the other ‘bits’ so we were able to fix and race the next day. Great service 👍🏼
